big boy haircut...seriously.

so...back to the normal world. and that world includes a little boy whose hair grows very rapidly. and that world also includes a mama who refuses to go through the awful, horrible, tremendous trial of cutting that little boy's hair!!

enter the local barber shop...



oh, he was SO good. i was SOOO proud of him! i laughed and joked with the men working there (and getting their hair trimmed there!) about how they inwardly groaned when they saw us walking in from the parking lot...but little man did so well! he pretty much looked where he was supposed to, held still (although i admit i was stuffing kernels of white cheddar popcorn in his mouth at regular, bribing intervals!) and followed directions!
