more cousins and coast...

i begin this post with a throw-back to "real men wear pink"...

these shots are in his cousin August's bedroom...a shrine to the color pink, if you will...we were glad to see him show some interest in the Transformer (is that Optimus Prime??) pinata, i'll admit!

Part of the fun of getting together is the chaos of 3 2-year olds in one place. This is ben (a.k.a. "uncle benny") holding all three at once! Lucy was none too excited about it, as you can see...

Lounging (figure of speech...do 2 year olds lounge?) by the pool while Pop-Pop barbequed the chicken on the grill...and yes, Warren's chair is pink.

unfortunately, the lovely day ended a bit rough...in trying to get a "cute" picture of Samantha and Sarah Lawson (Lucy), i asked the girls to hug. They very enthusiastically responded, resulting in Sarah Lawson getting knocked down and nearly biting through her lower lip. As Ben so kindly informed me (as I was affirming "it's okay, it's okay" to Lucy in my arms), blood pouring down my arm from Lucy's mouth is most definitely NOT okay. Poor tyke!

Hopefully the next trip will be just as much fun...without the bloodshed!
