friday night we had an impromptu family dinner party for warren. now, nothing fancy, mind you...the menu included a couple of dip options and a main fare of tacos...but we sat a nice table, nonetheless!
and warren got his first official birthday present from aunt cindy and the rest of the harris clan! the present was setting off to the side of the table, and warren unexpectedly grabbed his bag and carried it into the den. no time like the present, i suppose, when it comes to opening birthday gifts! didn't hurt to have an audience for full attentive purposes, either!
the paper was amazing, but even better was the ELMO jack in the box! cousin samantha thought it was neato too...warren didn't set it down for almost 3 days! and yes, yet another elmo song has been added to my "irritating songs in my head" repertoire...well worth it!
