Keeping cousins company in the back seat...can't believe those glasses are on the right way. They seemed to prefer them upside down!

The swing, Oh, the swing. Warren is really going to miss this...
In recent years (I think it started as a Father's Day gift?) the Eakes have made a tradition of going to one minor league baseball game a year. It's just one more way to spend quality, memorable time together...something harder and harder to come by, it seems. So - this year, the New Orleans Zephyrs! The weather could not have been more perfect, and everyone genuinely had a wonderful time...
and just so you know, everyone was very happy here...it's just that 4 of the 5 mouths were stuffed with hamburger at the time of the shot...oops.
see...I AM in a picture...
more chips, please, Pop Pop!
It was a late night getting in, and Warren cried (who am I kidding...screamed-hollered-wailed!) the last 20 minutes of the drive, but well worth the effort. Oh...and got to try out your little boys and cups in the car trick, Laura...it was late, and I just didn't have the patience to pull over! Worked like a charm!

I think if my sister had to hear one more minute of that from Warren, she might have had John dismantle every switch in the house! Warren has a slight fascination with switches and the effects of flipping said switches...

Daddy actually indulged him in developing a new fascination, too...Chain! Chain! At least he knows only Daddy is strong enough to lift him this way, so Mama is off the hook...

Perhaps by the time of our next visit, the fans and lights (and chains) will be safe...perhaps...
