this is Sarah Reid, our neighbor. and I got to look after her for a few hours the other day!!!
this child is perfect. so perfect it's completely unfair. she grins. she chortles. she coos. if she does so much as whimper, she is so easily satisfied it really doesn't count! and just look at the joy she radiates!
warren was really sweet with her too, which was so good to see. i was afraid he might say "yea! a baby!" then get bored and start fussing, but nope. if it is meant to be, he's going to be a great older brother someday!
it was a beautiful day, too, so we found an old hat of warren's, loaded up the stroller (with warren) and the baby bjorn (with sarah reid!). she actually fell asleep for most of the walk, but it was a great workout for me! whew!
of course, half the neighborhood is now thinking that i had another baby in our 9-month absence from tupelo. i've already had to explain to one gentleman that no, that wasn't my child.
oh well! i'll gladly look after her any day!!
Isn't she precious?!! Warren seems to be enjoying her.
