So - this past Saturday Warren had the privilege of attending his friends' birthday party (yes, 2 friends, brothers, in fact!). we had to leave later that day for Greenville to attend a wedding of a childhood friend of mine...so a 3 hour car ride ahead of us. we weren't quite sure how that was going to work, but as you can see, sugar solves everything!! the party favors were gigantic (well, for an almost 21 month old, at least!) lollipops...warren thoroughly enjoyed his!!
and then, as we hit the road, the sugar rush came to an abrupt end...YES! he slept almost the entire way there!!
once we arrived at the hotel, however, we quickly realized a hotel room is not the best place for a toddler...thank goodness for Jeannie's purse...and wallet!! if only he realized just what he had in his hands...!!
lunch at the country club was eventful, to say the least! wish i had gotten pictures of warren playing on the putting green outside the dining room window, but at least i got this cute picture with his Jeannie and Bunky as we left...
and what begins with a lollipop must end with a lollipop; when we arrived back in tupelo and went to pick up zip from "puppy jail", the veterinarian kindly gave us 3 lollipops...warren quite approved of this auspicious ending! and mommy and daddy quite approved of his good night's sleep!
