if i knew the way to put music notes in there i would have, but we all know the tune. but instead of the 12 days of Christmas, we Eakes are looking at the 25 days of Christmas...
...Pez style!!!
our Christmas season here on the beach was ushered in yesterday with the arrival of Warren's first Christmas package of the year. he was quite excited about opening his present, which actually turned out to be three presents!
he was giddy over his new tractor, as you can see.
it's actually an ornament, but when we asked him if he was going to hang it on the tree he politely declined. much more fun to play with "trevor", as he calls all green tractors (thomas the train anyone?). and THEN he found his Santa, filled with 25 days worth of Pez!
and the final goodie was, of course, a Santa Clause Pez dispenser.
it's been interesting trying to keep the child away from all the Pez, but he's doing pretty well so far. at least we're getting to work on our counting, and on learning the higher numerals...and a future dentist bill, perhaps! the child actually woke us up in bed this morning, asking if he could have his Christmas Pez. guess he dreamed about it all night!
he's now happily drinking his orange juice, and we're off to get our Christmas tree later this morning. Christmas at the condo...who knew.
