oh! how i love...adore...my double crabapple tree! it's supposed to thunderstorm tonight, and i just know it will decimate my beautiful bounty of foliage (or flora or whatever you're supposed to call the blooms!), so i took a moment to bring some of it inside. out with the yellow forsythia arrangements from easter...

i know - i went a bit crazy. but this is why i want a better camera (and skills!) - the view from my sunroom is simply spectacular.
this tree literally encompasses the corner of my house. yes. i spend as much time as possible in this room around this time of year. sigh. why is spring so short?
